WIN a DVD Copy of ‘Ugly Americans: Volume 1’

Published

on

One of the coolest new shows on TV is Comedy Central’s “Ugly Americans,” which follows “South Park” every Wednesday night. With the second season kicking off this week, the first volume arrives on DVD this coming Tuesday at retailers everywhere. Bloody Disgusting has been provided with 3 copies of the DVD for some lucky readers to enter to win. Read on to see how!
Take New York City, add every horrifying beast, science-fiction freak, and fantasy faerie, shake thoroughly, and you’ve got “Ugly Americans”. This animated horror-comedy series follows one Mark Lilly, social worker at the Department of Integration, as he helps new citizens both human and “other” adapt to hectic life in the Big Apple. There are easier tasks than weaning vampires off blood, socializing land-whales and housebreaking werewolves, but Mark is up to the challenge. Between his stressful job, a zombie roommate and a demon girlfriend, Mark’s lucky if he can sneak in a few minutes of sleep. But who can sleep when there’s a drop-dead gorgeous Mermaid sitting at the bar?

In addition to Mark Lilly, the “Ugly Americans” cast features Randall Skeffington, Mark’s zombie roommate (voiced by Kurt Metzger), Callie Maggotbone, Mark’s demon boss and office fling (voiced by Natasha Leggero), Leonard Powers, an aging drunken wizard (voiced by Randy Pearlstein), Twayne, a terrorizing demonic bureaucrat (voiced by Michael-Leon Wooley) and Lt. Grimes (voiced by Larry Murphy), a law-enforcement officer who despises non-humans. Additional characters are voiced by Devin Clark, Mike O’Gorman and Maria Bamford, Pete Holmes and Julie Klausner.

“Ugly Americans: Volume One” DVD will be released by COMEDY CENTRAL Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment on Tuesday, October 5. Every release includes an official publication from the Department of Integration, plus a horrifying selection of special features:

Gruesome Original Webisode!
A Terrifying Animatic Sneak Peak!
Bloodcurdling Audio Commentary with David Stern, Devin Clark and Dan Powell!
Ghastly Art Galleries!

HOW TO ENTER: All you have to do is put UGLY AMERICANS in the subject line and then send your FULL NAME and ADDRESS to submit@bloody-disgusting.com.
