Could Sarah Connor Return in Next ‘Terminator’?
Justin Lin (director of the last three Fast and Furious films) was recently attached to resurrect the Terminator franchise, and Moviehole.net had the chance to sit down with him to chat about robot programmed time travel assassinations. During the interview Lin said something shocking: he teased the return of Sarah Connor (played by Linda Hamilton) — but before you get your hopes up, it should be noted that he was baited into the comment. It could mean absolutely nothing.
“I mean, Sarah Connor is such a big part of the franchise, you know. Yeah, I mean I’ve always been surprised how in part 3 she was just like… It was like one line and she was gone,” he tells the site in response to the interviewing expressing their distain for the missing character (from the past two films).
Lin continues: “But I think the great thing about this franchise is you have… You can actually have different canons because you have the element of time travel. So, there’s a way of kind of respecting all the works but also able to create a new time line.”
It has been rumored in various news stories over the past few months that many of the franchises character could return, right down to Kyle Reese. Who would you want to see back? Personally, I’d love for Edward Furlong to clean up his act, lose some effin’ weight and kick some Terminator booty.

‘Boorman and the Devil’ Documentary Trailer Chronicles Complicated Relationship with ‘Exorcist II’
Critically acclaimed documentary Boorman and the Devil chronicles how one of the world’s greatest filmmakers made one of the most hated movies ever: Exorcist II: The Heretic. A new trailer highlighting some of the troubled production woes has arrived.
Boorman and the Devil opens at The Quad in NYC on August 28 before opening wider in various cities on September 4, including: Los Angeles, Columbus, Houston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Seattle and more.
After the success of Point Blank and Deliverance, Warner Brothers offered John Boorman the opportunity of a lifetime: the chance to direct a sequel to their smash hit, The Exorcist. The result was one of the biggest disasters in movie history. A critical and financial failure that not only changed how Hollywood did business, but nearly ended Boorman’s filmmaking career… but to be an artist is to be a risk-taker.
Now, John Boorman, Linda Blair, Louise Fletcher, Karyn Kusama, Joe Dante, Mike Flanagan, and more reflect back on the ambition of the film, the artistry and craft, and the value of big creative swings.

Boorman and the Devil is produced by Kittredge’s Triple Fire Productions, Travis Stevens (Jodorowsky’s Dune, Starry Eyes) of Snowfort Pictures, and Jim Fall (The Lizzie McGuire Movie), with Alan Koenigsberg of Milton Ventures Media serving as co-producer.
