New Gameplay Feature Video for ‘1666: Amsterdam’ Introduces the Protagonists [Watch]

Panache Digital Games has released a new gameplay feature video for 1666: Amsterdam, offering a closer look at the two protagonists—Noah and Aaron—at the heart of the upcoming story-led dark fantasy action title. In addition, the gameplay feature also offers a closer look at the mystical tools and powers that shape Noa’s journey and the unique bond that defines their adventure.

In 1666: Amsterdam, Noa Brooklyn is the heir to an ancient lineage of Zaindaris tasked with hunting down The Originals. Meanwhile, Aaron is mysteriously summoned 300 years into the past and trapped inside the body of a cat. Bound together across centuries, the two must work as one to uncover hidden truths and confront an ancient force threatening the balance of the world.

Set to launch into Early Access on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, 1666: Amsterdam centres around the eponymous city that was built on wealth, power, and sheer will, but now fuelled by a sinister force it did not forge. Entities known as The Originals have lived for centuries, granted time, granted power, and the freedom to abuse both. That power is now owed. Noa Brooklyn was born The Collector, raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose: taking that power back.
