[BD Caption Contest] Last Week’s Winner! New Photo For The Week!

Published

on

Our winner for last week’s contest is Black Shadow with the caption “Lady, I think you’re wearing your son’s pants.” Our runner up is purplek with “Well, this is the pet cemetary… I’m going to go back and jazzercise until it’s time for my puddin’.” I can sort of picture Fred Gwynne saying that. Unfortunately, like in Top Gun, we can’t give prizes for second place right now.

Black Shadow, please DM me your mailing address. You are the winner of the DVD of the Eduardo Sanchez directed Amy Smart starring Seventh Moon! Everyone else – I really liked a lot of the submissions, keep at it! Now, on to this week’s contest!

Rules:

1. We pick a still from a movie. It’s included after the jump. You head to the comments section and submit your best one-liners, zingers, pathos riddled couplets etc…

2. You can enter as many times as you like and submit as many captions as you want, but each caption must be in a separate comment. Otherwise it will be too hard to tell where one caption ends and the other begins. Your entries can be posted anytime during the first five days after the still is announced (you don’t want to submit your winning zinger after we’ve picked the winner). Also any racist, homophobic or generally hateful jokes will be disqualified. You don’t have to be insanely PC – just use your best judgement.

3. We pick the winner and announce them and their winning caption when the next photo in the contest is posted. We will address you by your BD Infected name. You can then DM me your address and I will send you your prize in a timely manner (i.e. you should have it in about a week). Sound good? This week’s prize is twofold. The Camel Spiders Blu-ray and the DVD of the Charlie Sheen classic The Wraith, which has an interview with Clint Howard among other things.

Hit the jump to check out the still!

Brad Dourif Teases New ‘Chucky’ Movie Will Be Unlike Anything Fans Expect

New Chucky Movie

Don Mancini is hard at work scripting a brand new Chucky movie, which will take the franchise is an unexpected new direction according to the voice behind killer doll Chucky.

Don’t expect the new film to pick up from where the series left off, Academy Award nominee Brad Dourif teased at the Creep I.E. Cinema panel hosted by Bloody Disgusting this weekend.

If I know Don, I would say what he’s going to do is something completely different that I hadn’t thought of, that nobody had thought of,” the actor tells the audience.

It’s worth noting that the upcoming film is still in early development. So much so that Dourif has heard multiple different ideas for the ninth film in Mancini’s Chucky universe. “There is actually going to be another film made,’ Dourif explains, “I’ve heard maybe three pitches —that’s not a detail, and I’m not saying what they are—but they’re all different.

Emmy nominee Fiona Dourif was on hand to prevent her dad from spoiling any plot details, of course.

As we reported back in April, Don Mancini is aiming to make Chucky scary again in the brand new Chucky movie that will finally bring the (original) killer doll back to the big screen. Mancini’s plan is to return the franchise to the tone of Curse of Chucky as well as the first two original Child’s Play movies, once again dialing back the comedy and hijinks.

Brad Dourif voiced Chucky in all of the original Child’s Play movies as well as more recent installments Curse of Chucky and Cult of Chucky, and all three seasons of the TV series. And Dourif doesn’t plan on giving the character to anyone else anytime soon. He recently told the crowd at Spooky Empire, “Nobody’s doing Chucky but me.”

Stay tuned for more updates on all things Chucky.
