A Chilling Call In Latest ‘Dark Skies’ Imagery; New Poster and Clip Ravaged By Birds!

In theaters February 22 from Dimension Films is Dark Skies, the alien abduction horror film starring Keri Russell, Daniel Barrett and Josh Hamilton.

We’ve now landed a new look at Russell in the film, who looks like she’s getting a disturbing call. I hope it’s as chilling as the call Richard Gere gets in the 2002 Mothman Prophecies!

There’s also an update with a new Russian one-sheet and clip, which both feature the trailers elusive bird “crash”. In an additional update, Empire got their hands on a US bird-centric quad, which we’ve included below.

The supernatural thriller directed by Scott Charles Stewart “Follows a young family living in the suburbs. As husband and wife Daniel and Lacey Barret witness an escalating series of disturbing events involving their family, their safe and peaceful home quickly unravels. When it becomes clear that the Barret family is being targeted by an unimaginably terrifying and deadly force, Daniel and Lacey take matters in their own hands to solve the mystery of what is after their family.

Adam Wingard’s ‘Onslaught’ Receives ‘R’ Rating for Strong Bloody Violence and Sexual Material

Adam Wingard (You’re Next, The Guest) is getting back to his roots with the A24 movie Onslaught, and the film has received an ‘R’ rating from the MPA this week.

Releasing in theaters on September 4, Adam Wingard’s Onslaught is Rated ‘R’ for “Strong bloody violence, some gore, sexual material/nudity, and language.”

Watch the previously released Onslaught trailer below.

The duo behind The Guest, director Adam Wingard and writer Simon Barrett, are re-teaming for the upcoming Onslaught, which stars Adria Arjona in the leading role.

Here’s the synopsis: “When a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers break loose in the desert, a badass Army sniper must unleash hell to protect her young daughter.”

Rebecca Hall (The Night House, Godzilla x Kong) and Dan Stevens (The Guest) also star in Adam Wingard’s upcoming new movie Onslaught alongside Michael Biehn, Reginald VelJohnsonEric WareheimDrew Starkey, and Alex “Poatan” Pereira

Wingard has spent the past several years making Hollywood blockbusters including Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and the idea behind Onslaught is to get back to his filmmaking roots. Onslaught looks very much in line with Wingard’s fan favorite The Guest, so much so that fans have been speculating that it’s set in the very same universe.

Dan Stevens starred alongside Maika Monroe in 2014 action-thriller The Guest. He played a mysterious ex-soldier with a secret agenda who wreaks havoc on a small town.

At the very least, The Guest and Onslaught look to be cut from the same cloth.

And yes, Dan Stevens is in both of them!
