Bioshock 2 New DLC ‘Minerva’s Den’ Announced
In Minerva’s Den, you take on the role of an unknown new character who teams up with Brigid Tenenbaum to unravel more secrets about the underwater city that was rapture. You’ll explore Rapture Central Computing, an area so far unexplored in Rapture. Unexplored by us that is. There will also be new weapons and a new plasmid included.

There will also be more dangerous Splicers that command the power of the elements, upgraded Security Bots that throw rockets and lightning bolts, and even a never-before-seen type of Big Daddy. Read on for more. “Minerva’s Den is a substantial addition that will give players more of what they’re looking for: more story, more narrative, more gameplay and more of Rapture,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “The core team has created an exciting product that further enhances the mystery and allure of the world of Rapture. Minerva’s Den will be a fitting conclusion to the BioShock 2 saga.”
The DLC will be coming out sometime late fall for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
Also, just released was the Protector Trials DLC which includes:
* Six new maps: three unique difficulty levels, each based on favorite locales from BioShock 2;
* New unlockables, including never-before-seen concept art and videos;
* Seven new Achievements/Trophies.
The Protector Trials can be yours for 5 bucks. In the Protector Trials, you take control of the big daddy, and you protect the little sister from getting her ADAM taken from the splicers.

‘The Outer Threat’ Trailer – First Contact Leads to Danger and Paranoia in Sci-Fi Thriller
The discovery of life beyond Earth leads to paranoia and danger for a family in the new trailer for The Outer Threat.
The sci-fi thriller heads to Digital and VOD on July 10, 2026.
In The Outer Threat, “After making a groundbreaking extraterrestrial discovery, astrophysicists Daniel and Michelle are forced to flee from home with their family — pursued through the countryside by a relentless and anonymous assailant. As their flight unfolds, the line between cosmic revelation and human paranoia blurs, leading to a tense and emotional confrontation that challenges the boundaries of understanding, science, and survival.“
The film comes from writer-director William Woods and stars Constance Wu, Mark O’Brien, William Fichtner, Callista Crowe, Isaac Smelcer-Zhang, Oscar Hsu, and Murray Furrow.
Maddy Falle, Albert Shin, and Allison White produce. Executive producers include Rob McGillivray, Ben Stranahan, Tom Spriggs, John Hansen III, Patrick Vipond, Jared Blaichman, Jonah Blaichman, and Randall Okita.
