I thought this movie was great. it was better than seeing another remake. sarah michelle gellar is amazing.
Good movie but lets face it the reason Iwent to see it is because Sarah Michelle Gellar is f-cking hot! But actually I was surprised the movie was actually very good very impressed i’ve watched it 3times on DVD
this movie is total bullcrap, stupid story and bad acting.
I think this movie was pointless.
I only liked, like 3 parts
Sarah Michelle Gellar, is the reason I saw this, but it was actually good, given you pay attention and aren’t there to take anything serious.
I went to see this partly because of Sarah Michelle Gellar but I ended up actually liking it. It’s a good film
Expendable, boring, no satisfactory results in a paper thing script.
this movie was dreadful! it was nothing that should be watched more than once…Sarah Michelle Gellar should know to do better movies than this shit!
really, really liked it. Atmospheric and thrilling, interesting story, a surprisingly great Sarah Michelle Gellar.
SMG is really great it’s too bad she’s not being very lucky at the moment with the films she’s made
interesting but with SMG’s reseme its definitely her weakest film!(besides Southland Tales) but a good mystery.
I really liked this, despite the fact that I had to watch it over 4 times to get whatever the hell was going on.
If you can figure it out, the story is actually great.
Bad movie even worse acting only watched it to see SMG.
I didn’t think this was a true horror movie. More like a thriller in line with movies such as What Lies Beneath. Not a bad plot, but pretty predictable.
The poster for this film looks really good! It looks like an atmospheric, dark, gritty, supernatural horror that’ll creep you out on a Friday night. Unfortunately “The Return” isn’t atmospheric, it isn’t dark or gritty and it’s debateable whether it is actually a horror. As the old saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover!
Now beneath the puzzling and confusing exterior actually lies a pretty decent plot, but just executed limply and a bit all over the place. “The Return” does include an intriging opening and does seem to intrigue throughout rather than actually involve the audience in the plot. I felt very detatched from “The Return” and I think it was because of the lack lustre directing. It felt like bits and pieces were being flown everywhere without giving any real direction. it just diddn’t feel involving.
The visuals aren’t as impressive as the poster either, it could’ve at least looked dark and moody, but instead looked slightly damp instead of being drenched in fear! I wouldn’t call this a horror film, because very little scary things happen. It’s more like a supernatural drama about a woman who sees things that don’t make sense until the end.
“The Return” is actually a very weak film, the story screenplay is a mess and so is the directing, so I can’t see why some people like this? Was it because of Sarah? She may be nice to look at it but so is my banister (not a euphanism) and she’s about as wooden as my banister!
The ending is actually quite good, it finally does get exciting and fires up a twist that doesn’t really make much sense but is still quite clever. If you do decide to see “The Return” don’t expect what you see on the poster because you ain’t gonna get it!
I don’t remember much, but from I remember it was a’ight.
I love Sarah Michelle Gellar, but this movie wasn’t the best. I found it to have pointless scenes and a bit confusing at times. However, this movie did have some upsides, including Sarah Michelle Gellar.
