‘Season of the Witch’ Goes Back Behind Cameras This September

Now that Lionsgate is focusing its sole attention on The Last Exorcism, Dominic Sena’s Gothic horror film Season of the Witch has been put on the back-burner. Production Weekly is reporting that Lionsgate has commenced some additional photography (they’re calling it reshoots) for the beginning of September in Shreveport. Early screenings have said to have gone “good”, but not “great”. There’s nothing wrong with beefing up a movie if you ask me. In the film Nicolas Cage stars as a 14th century Crusader who returns with his comrade to a homeland devastated by the Black Plague. Below you’ll see Cage, Ron Perlman and a somewhat “holy” image (to us horror fans) featuring the bubonic plague. (more…) READ MORE
