In the sci-fi thriller Skyline, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth. Why? Probably because humans suck. FX specialists Colin and Greg Strause (also the directors of Aliens vs Predator: Requiem) will see the release of their indie on November 12, thanks to Universal Pictures. We’ve been hearing rumors that both Cary Elwes and Monica Potter would be returning in Lionsgate’s Saw 3D – the seventh film in the franchise – but haven’t been able to get any surefire confirmation. This evening Lionsgate released the “revealed” cast listing, which confirms that Elwes will in fact be returning as Dr. Lawrence Gordon in the Kevin Greutert directed sequel penned once again by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. Today NECA posted new images of their Predator action figure from their upcoming Aliens vs Predator: Requiem toy line. The image is of the second Predator figure, which features the hunter with an open mouth. Ugly as sin and loaded with weapons, the Wolf hits shelves this May as part of Series 3.
