Unless you’ve never seen a movie in your life, you have seen this movie before. I cannot believe how completely, utterly unoriginal this movie is. It took every cliché and put them into a movie.

And the killer looked like a reject for Bozo the Clown.

this movie is not 2 bad, but i did not liked the killer, the ending was lame and cliché.
this movie could have been way much better if the killer was someone else and if he killed more
and they put a little more goor and suspence in the movie.
it was hard 2 stay awake with this movie, but the acting was good.

Much better than the user rating would lead you to believe. It pisses me off how some people have this preconieved notion about PG-13 horror and how it “has” to suck. I call bullshit, especially in this case. This was a decent movie. The plot moved along nicely and the finale left me feeling satisfied overall.

I don’t know why people don’t like this movie. I personally really enjoyed it. Not too many good movies come out like this in this decade. They mostly all suck.

    A definite recommendation.

Well it was actually better than When A Stranger Calls which was kind of the same thing and i think this movie it is not scary but suspensful and really good so if a sequel is made am gonna be in the theaters watching it.

I dont know why so many people liked this movie so much, i felt it was a rip off of old hitchcock stuff, but im sure many films do that, but the movie was predictable, boring and i didnt really care much about the characters at all, the best thing about it, was the performance of the villian david morse played.

This movie was fantastic until the end when it became the same old, same old. The whole film has you wondering several things:

    Is LeBeouf’s character going mad?
Is his neighbor really a killer?
Is he about to wack the girl?

It does a fantastic job of making you think one thing and giving you another, constantly building up to the point where the crap does hit the fan. However, when it does hit, you are left wanting.

LeBeouf is good, but the female lead is about exciting as watching a boot do calculus. David Mors is a fantastic creep and killer, smooth and evil. It is an utter thrill ride until the ending.

Disturbia was actually a pretty good, suspenseful thriller. Some true moments of pure terror. While the first half plays out like a comedy and starts out a little slow, this film is actually scary. There are some creepy moments. I recommend Disturbia. It was actually a pretty good PG-13 flick.

Surprisingly well done updating of Rear Window, Shia isn’t quite as irritating as usual & its quite suspensful for a PG-13 flick.

The movie was really good. Shia LaBeouf is a good actor for his age and i think he was outstanding in Transformers. I recommend this film to everyone.

Disturbia is a character study, and what people do when they find themselves in serious immediate danger. It’s good, almost great. It is unique and that is a boast to make already.

    Typical, boring teenage horror film.

Its so overshadowed by humor that its hard to feel the underlying suspense and thrill. It gives away too much plot too soon, leaving you with no suprise at the film’s climax.

Ok, the only ones who could like this movie are people who know the actors- it was boring, predictable, and one dimensional. Hitchcock is shaking his head on this version of his tale

This film really shocked me! I was expecting it to be your average horror film and to be honest it started off that way, with the girl next door and everything, but then when the neighbour moved in! It became a tense, nail biting and really entertaining ride! It surprised me in how good it was. This is a seriously underrated film and is miles better than Hitchcocks HIGHLT overrated, boring, “suspenseful” Rear Window.

I realy love this movie. It surpised me on every level. There are some great scares and thrilling moments. Shia LeBeouf gives a great performance in this and so do the supporting cast. This was a great treat that one will be very surpised when watching.

This Movie was extremely well paced.. the character development and plot of the movie was brilliant! Shia LaBeouf (one of my favourite actors) definitely has a bright career ahead of him.. his acting was remarkable, without any doubt.. whatsoever! oh.. & Sarah Roemer was stunning in the movie!

    Bottomline ~ A Solid Thriller!

I guess it’s a decent remake of Rear Window for the teenage viewers out there…but I just found this movie rather boring and quite slow. There is absolutely nothing special about this movie, so unless your a high schooler in love with Shia or the bikini-clad chick in the movie, just skip this and do something better with your time.

this is a pretty good movie, especially if you think that it’s a Hitchcock’s film’s remake
    it’s suspenseful and entertaining
however the end disappointed me,because i was expecting something more unexpected
the ending was absolutely classic(the kid kills the killer)but the whole thing is definitely worth to watch

I loved this movie! If you like realistic thriller movies with a mix of light comedy and great suspense, then Disturbia is the one! Some people seem to mistake this for a horror movie at first glance (ex. post below), which it’s NOT. It is very similar to “Rear Window” plotwise, but will fill your thrill hunger after a first watch!

Too predictable for my taste… and I’m no movie snob.

This one just didn’t do it for me, at all.

I don’t think many “true” horror fans are going to like this one.

Not a true “horror” movie. A good one for the teenie boppers. And the killer turned into a douche bag at the end.

MUCH better than expected. A real edge-of-the-seat suspense movie. Not actually horror, but still……very well done. Really tense for a PG-13 movie.
