Pretty goddamn good adaptation, much much better than Doom and Resident Evil. May not have the same feel to it as the game, and isn’t creepy or scary, but it’s a sensory treat that boasts a great cast that more than do their parts. Silent hill is so vividly portrayed, it almost seems like a real place. Kudos to Mr. Gans, and here’s to the sequel, that is, if you’re helming it.
I am a die hard fan of the games and I found thismovie to be pretty awesome and faithful to the source material. My only complaint is the acting, it can pretty horrible at times.
This is an amazing movie; I loved the creepiness, the acting, and everything about it.
