Good movie. I liked the climax of it. And yes, Jackson Rathbone is in it. But, c’mon. Give it a chance, like I did. His acting was superb and I cannot wait for his debut in Dread! I’m keeping this movie, so it must have had some sort of impact on me.
This was lame movie at best this is the kind of movie that should been seen on Lifetime television network and the only thing scary about this movie was the teenager girl who came to stay with the family she was like a bad seed type of look that was the scarest part of the movie. This is a drama not horror at all. I don;t get people who review theses movies maybe the producer pays them.
A melodrama disguised as a horror film, you might find more entertainment in actually moving to the desert. More details here:

Finally caught this movie on Netflix last night. The first half of the movie was great. I had no idea what was going to happen and the film kept me interested. The second half it just kind’ve fell apart. Not only was it totally ridiculous, but they could have done so much with the second half of this movie!! It’s a decent watch, but nothing special.

Have no idea why this boring drama is on BD or even rated R–no cussing, no horror, no suspense…just one dead duck in the first 50 mins, no joke. The evil foster child thing is extremely lame and tame, and believe some of the other reviews–the story itself is pointless cable tv movie-of-the-week garbage complete with a silly ending. Awful.
