I have fond memories of watching this show growing up, sure I was lured in by the title & disappointed that week after week a hockey mask failed to show up (I was sure the mask was a cursed item & I just missed that episode). While there’s never any mention of the films or their events, this series itself is a great supernatural series. It follows cousins Ryan & Micky as they hunt down cursed items that brings doom to all who encounter them. Every episode had them tracking a different object with different powers & downfalls, always imaginative & sometimes quite disturbing. If you missed it give it a try, if you remember it then take a trip back, its still a great series!
THIS SHOW WAS & STILL IS FANTASTIC! Cheesy special effects, campy acting between the lead cousins, insanely stupid story ideas, talking dolls and murderous makeup cases and killer scarecrows…who woulda thunk that all of these factors would lead to a superb television show?!
Hopefully you’re not one of the people that thinks this show has anything to do with the Friday the 13th movies, because if you do you are 100% wrong. It’s just about a bunch of cursed items that are spreading evil and must be tracked down by Mickey, Ryan and Jack…and they battle ghosts and Satan all at the same time!
Campy, cheesy, and just pure fun. I love it!
