This movie didn’t hold my interest at all! It was dull, slow, bad acting, silly looking monster and had no scares or anything remotely chilling about it so I turned it off after 25 minutes. It pretty much sucked to sum it up!

This is a fun movie if you actually “get” it. It`s really well made for a low budget film, but not a full-blooded horror movie by any means. It`s a heartfelt throwback to the gritty, exploitative, gore-laden 70′s “B-movie” era, so don`t expect any Academy Award winning Marlon Brando type performances in here. If you`re a young contemporary horror fan that hasn`t seen more than a handful of the cult classics it pays successful homage to, then this is not for you. The point is just have fun with it without the overbearing special effects. I totally respect what these guys have done with their first film – making the most of a shoestring budget, and managing to stay true to the grindhouse roots of the dixie drive-in circuit’s heyday.

This movie is far from great, but pretty good for a VERY LOW budget film. I like the retro look given to the movie. My wife didn’t care for it a whole lot, but then again, she likes Twilight. Therefore, her opinion on horror films doesn’t really matter much.

This movie is really beyond bad. as a huge fan of The legend of Boggy Creek this movie is just a joke. i appreciate the filmmakers trying to do a throwback type of film with the grainy picture and the old school feel of it but overall its just a long and boring movie which pretty much consists of this “wild man” or a demon which is what some of the locals call it living in this area of land in Sublime, Texas. the man who owns the land is a loner and has a wife who suffered from a stroke and is in a wheelchair and a mexican caretaker who takes care of her(in more ways than one) and tends to the house and the land. the “creature” lives on a part of this land that the man opens up to locals to go hunting in and well, you can guess that the hunters become the hunted. the main problem with this movie is what the hell is this thing? is it a man? a creature? a wild man creature combo? some bum from the local watering hole? hell if i know! it looks so stupid because you see it from the daytime and night time and while the sound effects for the creature were pretty good with the growling the look is completely off and looks quite dumb as shit. it took me out of the movie completely and had they done a better job with it it could have been a worth-while watch. if it was suppose to be a wild man and some cave man living out there, it still didnt work as a whole and left alot to be desired, not too mention the blood and gore is a complete joke and looks like hawaiian punch with chunks of twizzlers in it. skip it people.
