This is quite possibly the stupidest movie I have seen in a long time. Practically every scene necessatated a least a double face palm. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but at some point the stupidity of it stopped being funny and just became annoying. Alexis Texas was hot though
I’m not sure which would be better… cleaning chum from my cousin’s fishing boat, or re-watching this abomination. It is not all bad. I found the individual characters entertaining in a campy sort of way; but once the dialogue begins, oh my. Yes, Alexis Texas is quite hot, but her dialogue is as rotten as the rest. I found the back and forth between the intern and the sex-crazed sales guy (during their protracted shootout in the hallway) especially abhorrent; I very nearly vomited all over myself.
The film could have redeemed itself by focusing on over the top gore. Any abomination of celluloid can ratchet a few marks higher with some entertaining kills and gore. But it seems the special fx kit was limited to one and only one squirt tube, every time attached to the victims neck. There was missed opportunity in using the test-lab felines as creative gore vessels, yet the literal “cat fight” occurs off screen. Sigh.
As to the BD Review’s good marks, I am speechless. Perhaps there is an audience for this. I’ve appreciated my share of schlock. But this… oh my. I’d advise approaching with a hefty quantity of booze.
