Blumhouse Vampire Flick ‘Family Blood’ Bites Onto Netflix March 31st!

Blumhouse makes a lot of movies in secret that are never announced. Most end up direct to Netflix, VOD or on DVD. Such the case with Sonny Mallhi‘s Family Blood, about a class of vampires.

After a one-week theatrical run at the Arena Lounge in Hollywood (March 16), the horror film will stream on Netflix March 31st, according to various social posts.

In the film, “Ellie, a recovering drug addict, has just moved to a new city with her two teenage children. She has struggled to stay sober in the past and is determined to make it work this time, finding a stable job and regularly attending her meetings. Unfortunately, new friends, a new job, and the chance of a new life, can’t keep Ellie from slipping once again. Her life changes when she meets Christopher – a different kind of addict – which forces her daughter and son to accept a new version of Ellie.

Vinessa Shaw, James Ransone (Sinister), and Colin Ford star. Thanks to @owslajosh for the heads up.
