Update the Camera Obscura app on your mobile phones this weekend, because we have about a week until the release of DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark. When the standalone expansion to Digital Happiness’ Fatal Frame-inspired supernatural horror game arrives on March 24 it will bring a new cast of more than thirteen ghosts to replace the wall-crawling lady giants and massive man-faced demon boars that have had a recurring role in my nightmares for too long.
The team at Digital Happiness has designed the eight environments that comprise Keepers of the Dark to be playable in the order of your choosing. The game will also support first and third person perspectives, as well as two chapters that had been previously cut from DreadOut.
