‘Hallow’ Poster, From the Director of ‘The Crow’

Hallow

Just a week after being announced as the new director of The Crow, Corin Hardy’s Hallow was announced to World Premiere at this coming January’s Sundance Film Festival.

Hailing out of Ireland, Empire scored the official festival one-sheet for the film, starring Joseph Mawle, Bojana Novakovic, Michael McElhatton, and Michael Smiley.

When a London-based conservationist is sent to Ireland to survey an area of ancient forest believed by the superstitious locals to be hallowed ground, he unwittingly disturbs a horde of terrifying beings and must fight to protect his family.

The site says Hardy cites classic horrors like The Evil Dead, Alien and The Thing as boyhood inspirations.

This guy was recommended by Edgar Wright to direct the Crow, I hope this film proves he’s got the chops. Wright was right about Cornish and Attack the Block.
