Lost Planet 2

Capcom recently announced Lost Planet 2, and so far it’s looking far better than the original. While it had its flaws, I still had a pretty good time playing the original, and one feature of Lost Planet 2 that I am highly into is a 4 player co-op campaign, online.

Lost Planet 2 takes place 10 years after the events of the original game. The snow covered planet you were used to playing on has melted away. Reveal a tropical jungle like landscape. The story has advanced beyond Wayne Holden as players will now follow the exploits of their own customized (hoping for character creation) snow pirates on their quest to seize control of E.D.N III. Players will move their heroes through different stories creating a truly unique and interactive experience. With this concept, gamers will have the opportunity to engage in the story in a more dynamic way as plot threads evolve from various perspectives.

Want more? Read on for more, and screens, and a trailer… The nice thing is Capcom listened to what the fans of the 1st game had to say, which is always a great thing to do when making a sequel. Give the gamers what they want! New forms of Akrids will be incorporated, along with new actions into the 3D gameplay.
