This is a game that’s been long in the making and with a talented team of developers behind it including Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, No More Heroes Designer Goichi Suda and legendary Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka Shadows of the Damned has a lot to live up to. Since its official unveiling at TGS last year we’ve seen some squishy screens and a pretty cool Halloween trailer but so far actual gameplay has been pretty sparse. Until today.
Grindhouse style voice-over? A hot girlfriend from Hell? A talking skull-headed torch with an English accent that’ll likely end up being the game’s main source of comedic relief? I think this may very well be the best trailer released this year. No, wait. The Dead Island trailer still takes the cake. Head past the break for some incredibly cool, and equally as squishy screenshots.
