The tongue-in-cheek zombie defense game Dead Block is out now and it’s quite a bit of fun. In it you can play as one of three characters, Foxy, the knife-wielding waitress, Mike, the chunky boy scout, and Jack, the brawly construction worker. You can definitely play through it alone but I suggest grabbing a few friends to share the experience with. Sadly, there’s no online co-op, but this is one of the few games that still offers four player split-screen, so that sort of makes up for it.
Like I said, the game’s out now, but I’m sure many of you are chomping at the bit to hear what I have to say about it. Don’t worry, you can expect my well-written, deeply thought provoking review of the game to go up soon. If you’re still on the fence you can totally download the trial, but if you’re a fan of old school rock and zombies that I can only describe as adorable, than you’ll probably enjoy this game.
