TokyoPop Adaptation ‘Priest’ Gets 2010 Release

Sony Screen Gems has announced an August 13, 2010 release for Priest, to be directed by Scott Charles Stewart. The film is an adaptation of a TokyoPop comic book, the story is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampire and follows a warrior priest who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece. Stewart co-wrote the adaptation with Cory Goodman. Stewart also directed Legion for Screen Gems, which arrives in theaters January 22, 2010.
