Talk about wishful thinking, Todd McFarlane, creator of the comic book series Spawn, told MTV that he pictures Leonardo DiCaprio In lead role for the new feature film adaptation. “The main character isn’t Spawn, per se, it’s the guy chasing Spawn,” McFarlane explained. “And I’ve always had [Leonardo] DiCaprio in the back of my mind.” He hints that he’d love to have DiCaprio play one of the two detectives (Sam and Twitch), who might be changed slightly for the execs.
