In a new article over at Variety regarding the Short Circuit remake, they confirm some pretty old news that Dimension Films’ remake of Hellraiser will in fact be filmed in 3-D. They also report that the full title is Clive Barker’s Hellraiser, and also bring Scanners back into conversation. Scanners is in development hell after David Goyer penned the last draft. The Hellraiser reboot has already seen its fair share of directors (Alexandre Bustillo, Julien Maury, Pascal Laugier) attached to bring Pinhead back to the big screen. Dimension Films is also developing Scream 4 and a remake of John Landis’ classic An American Werewolf in London.
