Scream franchise writer Kevin Williamson has been extremely open when talking about Scream IV, the first in a new trilogy that the Weinsteins hope to bring Wes Craven back to. “It’s going good,” Williamson told MTV. “I’ve gotta finish that baby.” He reveals some of the first story details in the video that can be viewed beyond the break. “The fourth one is an ensemble…It’ll take place right now, 10 years later, and it’s going to take place in [Sidney Prescott's hometown of] Woodsboro. We’ll have our three main characters, and we’ll be introducing several more.” The three characters that will be returning are Sidney (Neve Campbell), Gale (Courteney Cox) and Dewey (David Arquette), Williamson confirmed, adding, “We’ll also be introducing a little group, a little ensemble of new castmembers. That’ll take us through the next three.” Read on for the video.
