What a bummer. Empire Online is reporting that Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn (Bronson) is withdrawing from getting behind the camera for Universal Pictures’ Jekyll, which has tapped Keanu Reeves to star. He dropped out so he can focus on an adaptation of James Sallis’ crime noir Drive. Penned by Justin Haythe, and inspired by “Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde”, plot details for this Jekyll are being kept locked in the laboratory.
