Update: A New ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ Trailer When? NOW?!

Update: Watch it here: B-D reader ‘dr.chopper’ sent us a private message this morning detailing a brand new trailer for A Nightmare on Elm Street, Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema’s remake arriving in theaters April 30. We did a little checking around and have confirmed that a new trailer is in fact already out. How can you see it? Unfortunately for you it’s playing in front of Clash of the Titans. No word on if it will ever arrive online, but if you want to know what’s in the new trailer, you’ll find a description below.

Hey Mr. D,

I just wanted to tell you to be on the lookout for a new A Nightmare on Elm Street trailer. I saw Clash of the Titans today, and one of the previews before the movie was for Nightmare. It’s a tricky one, though, because the first half of it is the same as the second full trailer; It starts out at the Springwood Diner and it seems exactly like the second trailer for a while, until the scene where Kris (Katie Cassidy) falls asleep in class. Instead of this greenish static and Freddy scratching the blackboard, the scene around Kris kind of falls to pieces as she’s sitting in her desk (it’s hard to explain, it was like 3D) and she keeps repeating to herself,”Wake up, wake up…” and it’s an entirely new trailer from there on out, with awesome new footage
