Ever since Ryan Murphy‘s American Horror Story launched in 2011, it brought together an impressive roster of talented actors, with many of them going on to return season after season as all-new characters. Season 13 of the series, however, is taking things up a notch and, rather than just bringing back familiar faces, it’s essentially going to be an Avengers of American Horror Story, as those actors are reprising fan-favorite roles.
A new teaser for the upcoming season highlights many of those exciting returns, with a special emphasis on the characters from Season 3’s Coven storyline. This isn’t the first we’ve seen of the new season, as a trailer was released earlier this month, but this specific footage puts an emphasis on fan-favorite returns. Starring in the new season are Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari, and Jessica Lange. The cast also features Avantika, Jamie Brewer, Elle Chapman, Berto Colon, Alex Consani, Frances Conroy, Mat Fraser, Seth Gabel, Orlando Jones, Paul Anthony Kelly, John Carroll Lynch, Tig Notaro, Madelaine Petsch, Fedor Steer, Mena Suvari, Zach Villa, John Waters and more.
American Horror Story: 13 premieres on FX on September 24.
