Remember that bounty of over 170 images that surfaced earlier this week? Well, according to a tweet from id Software’s Creative Director Matthew Hooper, those are official. However, don’t get too excited, because Hooper said that while the images are from Doom 4, they don’t reflect the final product. “Those images have nothing to do with what you’re gonna see in Doom 4,” Hooper tweeted.
So long as they reflect a larger focus on bigger and better lit environments, than I am all for whatever id is doing with the long awaited sequel. “When we officially show things you’ll see awesome…fans will be happy.” Hooper continued.
