Absurdist Psychological Horror Game ‘Good Children Say Grace’ Releases October 16 [Trailer]

Described as Eastern European horror meeting Japanese manga Oyasumi Punpun, solo developer Denis Morozov and Albanian writer Milha Vek have announced that their upcoming horror game Good Children Say Grace will launch on Steam on October 16. The game’s demo, which is currently available on Steam, will be updated and released alongside the full game.

The game will launch at $6.99, with a 10% launch discount. Through launch week and Steam Scream Fest (which takes place from October 26 to November 2), Good Children Say Grace will also be available in a Steam bundle with BrokenLore: DON’T WATCH from Tokyo-based Serafini Productions.

Set on a remote Eastern European island, the game follows Martin’s mental breakdown as he is grieving the disappearance of his girlfriend. His parents were scammed into adopting a girl his age who burned down her house. And now, everything looks like eggs…

Good Children Say Grace is heavily inspired by manga storytelling, with a visual style drawn from Inio Asano‘s Oyasumi Punpun. Play one day in the life of Martin and Amelia. Dialogue decisions and where you walk determine which version of the day you’re living. Small moments cascade into one of the game’s multiple endings.
