After a few false starts, and horrible rumors, it looks as if Dimension Films is ready to roll on their long gestured Hellraiser redo, reports Shock. According to the site, the non-3D film will be titled Hellraiser: Revelations and will be directed by Victor Garcia (Mirrors 2, Return to House on Haunted Hill). The screenplay was delivered by special effects artist Gary Tunnicliffe, who also pushed his (horrible) ideas for the new Pinhead online last year. One can only hope the Weinsteins aren’t using those designs. Although pegged as a remake, they are reporting that this will in fact be a stand alone movie. Whatever, just give me more Hellraiser STAT!
