James Wan and Leigh Whannell, the creators of Saw, are back with Insidious, a chiller that follows a young family that makes the terrifying discovery that the body of their comatose boy has become a magnet for malevolent entities, while his consciousness lies trapped in the dark and insidious realm known as The Further. The indie had its world premiere this past weekend at the Midnight Madness portion of TIFF only to be snatched right up by Sony Pictures. How did it fare? “Even through all of the flaws, Insidious is jam-packed with genuine scares and enough visual set pieces that it won’t soon be forgotten.” You can read the full review by clicking the link above.
