The creative forces behind this year’s award-winning, critically-acclaimed “Nightmare on Elm Street” retrospective, Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy , is back for more murderous mayhem, this time taking audiences behind the scenes of the suspense-thriller that changed the face of fear forever! Producer/Director Daniel Farrands (Halloween 6, The Girl Next Door, The Haunting in Connecticut) and Producer/Writer Thommy Hutson have reteamed once again to explore everything that made Wes Craven’s postmodern shocker Scream the definitive horror blockbuster of the 1990s.
“After our incredibly successful collaboration on ‘Never Sleep Again,’ we were eager to find another project to work on together,” says Farrands of Hutson and their team at 1428 Films. “Fortunately, we didn’t need to look far. From the genesis of Kevin Williamson’s original “Scary Movie” screenplay to the film’s final gross of nearly $200 million in worldwide box office receipts, SCREAM: THE INSIDE STORY will take fans deeper “behind the screams” than ever before.
