Valentine’s Day must be right around the corner as director Ridley Scott and Twentieth Century Fox both got what they wanted for Prometheus, the forthcoming re-titled Alien prequel.
While Scott scored The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo star Noomi Rapace, and Michael Fassbender, Fox just announced that Charlize Theron has inked a deal to star in the film shooting for an June 8, 2012 release.
Theron, who got her start in horror films such as Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest and The Devil’s Advocate, is making her return to genre having just locked down a deal to play “The Evil Queen” in Snow White and the Huntsman, along with a role in Mad Max: Fury Road.
