Casting is underway for the second season of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” and in previous interviews creator Robert Kirkman revealed that the cast would meet a new group of survivors on Hershel’s Farm.
The show is casting “Hershel Greene”, a super old veterinarian who lives with a large family in Georgia. “Maggie Greene” is his young daughter (20ish) who’s a well-rounded horse rider. Lastly is “Otis”, a farm foreman who is on a mission to atone for his sins: he accidentally shoots a survivor.
Premiering this fall, the second season will be a full 13 episodes. The comic adaptation is set among a group of zombie survivors of an apocalypse who are led by a police officer, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), in search of a safe place to live.
