Bloody Disgusting has exclusively confirmed that Sue Rock (Varsity Blues) will be starring as “Arlene” in Lionsgate’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, the John Luessenhop-directed sequel that’s to hit theaters October 5, 2012. She will star alongside previously announced Bill Moseley and Alexandra Daddario.
The latest Leatherface offering that will be a direct sequel to Tobe Hooper’s classic 1974 film. It’s said to follow the lead character, Heather (played by Daddario), who along with her friends, travel to Texas in order to collect an inheritance. The spin? Heather discovers that Leatherface is her cousin. Daddario is to be the “franchise” star, signing on for “multiple” sequels.
