TV: This October ‘Chiller 13: Horror’s Creepiest Kids’

Published

This October, Chiller dares you to dim the lights, grab your security blanket and prepare yourself for the next chapter in the popular Chiller 13 series. “Chiller 13: Horror’s Creepiest Kids” premieres Friday, October 28 @ 8 pm ET/PT. The 90-minute special is the perfect primer for Halloween, counting down the top terrifying moments in horror film history and featuring some of the most sinister little devils ever to appear on the silver screen.
Who will Chiller crown the creepiest kid? Will it be Danny Torrance repeating “redrum” in The Shining or the frightening jerky death walk of Samara Morgan in The Ring, or the head-spinning demon child Regan McNeil in The Exorcist?

Chiller’s panel of horror experts includes actors Nolan Gould (Modern Family and the upcoming Chiller original movie Brian Keene’s Ghoul), Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan), Miko Hughes (Pet Sematary and the upcoming Chiller original movie Steve Niles’ Remains) and Rachel Potter (The Addams Family on Broadway), as well as Michael Gingold (Fangoria Managing Editor), Brian Collins (Bloody-Disgusting.com), writer Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) and film director Mary Lambert (Pet Sematary). Chiller 13: Horror’s Creepiest Kids is produced by Emmy Award-winning company Associated Television International.

Chiller 13: Horror’s Creepiest Kids follows the chilling success of 2010’s countdown special Chiller 13: The Decade’s Scariest Movie Moments, which included Saw, Hostel, Drag Me To Hell, The Descent and The Ring. The program drew approximately 3 million viewers to the network over its airings, almost one third were new to Chiller prime.

Chiller is the only cable channel devoted to delivering viewers round-the-clock scares. Chiller’s eclectic slate of adrenaline-fueled, soul-stirring entertainment includes a broad offering of films, including feature-length premieres every Friday, international programming (Afterlife, Apparitions), documentary and reality shows (Fear Factor), anthology series (Masters of Horror) and some of the most thought-provoking and suspenseful series ever on television (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Twilight Zone, Tales from the Darkside, Outer Limits). The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
