UK Short ‘The Morning After’ To Premiere At Frightfest UK

One of the great things about film festivals is getting a chance to see cool shorts on the big screen, instead of on a tiny youtube screen like usual. And for our UK fans, one to definitely check out at this year’s Frightfest All Nighter is “The Morning After”, starring best-selling singer-songwriter Kate Nash, and appropriately takes place the morning after Halloween, as a very hung over Angel (Nash) scrambles to piece together the terrible things she did the night before before her parents show up for a planned visit.

And no less an authority than Joe Lynch has already given it his blessing, saying “The Morning After is what I love from great short-form cinema…short, sweet, sick & twisted!“.

The piece comes from Not So Lovely Films, the team that gave us last year’s fun Dumped, which was sort of a rom-com with a slasher. Check below the break for an exclusive still, and check out the full schedule for the All Nighter HERE.
