Nicolas Cage Could Lose His Mind On ‘Dark Highway’

According to The Chronicle Herald, Nicolas Cage (Ghost Rider, Season of the Witch, Wicker Man) is close to landing the lead role in Dark Highway, Bruce McDonald’s follow-up genre film to Pontypool.

The film is described as a supernatural thriller and has the following logline, “Story follows a man being chased who is trying to get to a certain place in one day. He doesn’t know whether the situation is real or his imagination.

It was written by Christopher Kyle (Alexander, K19: The Widowmaker) and will be produced as a joint venture between Palomar Pictures and Foundation Features.
