Writer/Director Riley Stearns shot Magnificat, a short starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (The Thing (2011), Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) and Stephen Tobolowsky (Memento, Groundhog Day, Buried), over one weekend this past summer. It’s now complete and is well worth checking out. It’s a quiet, suspenseful and creepy 13 minutes.
In the short, “A young woman is tormented by malevolent visions that begin to bleed into reality.”
