TV: Pilot Season Continues With Casting Of ‘Revolution’

Deadline continues to report on pilot season as comedian Zak Orth (Wet Hot American Summer, Vamps) has been cast in NBC’s JJ Abrams/Eric Kripke drama pilot “Revolution,” directed by Iron Man‘s Jon Favreau.

The high-octane action drama follows a group of people struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.

Orth will play Aaron, a brilliant scientist left in in a world where physics no longer follows the same rules.

Last week we reported that Giancarlo Esposito had been cast, alongside Billy Burke (Mr. Swan In Twilight, New Moon). Watch for more throughout next week.
