Bloody Disgusting has landed exclusive word on the final casting for Madison County and Roadside director Eric England‘s next project, Contracted, a Cronenberg-esque body horror set for production this month.
Caroline Williams – best known as “Vanita” in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, and star of Rob Zombie’s Halloween II and Stepfather II – has signed on to star alongside previously announced Katie Stegeman, Charley Koontz, Najarra Townsend, E-Kan Soong, Matt Mercer, Simon Barrett, Alice Macdonald, Jennifer Gonzalez, Ruben Pla and Lionel D. Carson. Williams will be playing Sam’s Mom.
In the indie horror, also penned by England, “A young girl has a one-night stand with a random stranger and contracts, what she thinks is, a sexually-transmitted disease – but is actually something much worse.”
Here’s our first word on the project from March 1.
This is a collaboration with the new production company BoulderLight Pictures, co-founded by JD Lifshitz and Raphael Margules, and Southern Fried Films.
