Epic New ‘Prometheus’ Poster Brings the Fireworks, Possible Spoilers

Prometheus International Banner 51712 Epic New Prometheus Poster Brings the Fireworks, Possible Spoilers

The newest international poster for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus brings some old school epic-ness to their campaign. A little 80′s? Maybe. but it’s awesome! However – it might contain a spoiler. Most of the previews show the Space Jockey ship crashing back down to the planet (LV-426?), but this poster might show how it crashes – and it has dire implications for our protagonists. Then again, it could be a metaphor for the gist of the film’s conflict.

With ‘Prometheus,’ Scott creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

In theaters June 8, Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Guy Pearce, Kate Dickie, Rafe Spall, Logan Marshall-Green, Benedict Wong, Emun Elliott, Ben Foster, Patrick Wilson all star.

Nostalgic, old school throw back to the posters of old but, I don’t see how it’s spoiling anything as to how it crashes when that shot has been in the two most recent trailers.

That’s what I initially thought too – but this image shows the Prometheus ship colliding with it.

Yeah – and from the last two trailers we’ve got, international trailers that is, they either show it colliding, or it’s implied what the Prometheus is aiming for in a few shots. I thought alot of people were well aware of that being how the ship is brought down for quite some time now – I didn’t consider it being a huge spoiler since it’s been in the marketing material for quite a while now – though I do know marketing material is different all over the world so some people may not have known that.

Regardless, only two weeks to go – May 31st and it’s out! (over here anyway)

I’ve been told that in one of the trailers there’s a moment where you see the shadow or silhouette of a xenomorph.. I’ve watched both trailers and couldn’t find it. Does anyone know anything about this? And if so which trailer and when during the trailer does it occur? If you could let me know, thankee sai!
