Red Band Trailer For ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ Is Better Than The Other Ones!

Published

Twentieth Century Fox’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, the Timur Bekmambetov-directed historical retelling of our 16th President that was penned by up-and-coming genre madman Seth Grahame-Smith, is finally heading into the top gears of its pre release publicity cycle. A red band trailer was issued to IGN today that kicks up the mayhem – and gore – several notches. It’s still pretty heavy on the CG – and I still hate the look of CG blood – but if you can get past that this may be a fun ride. We’ll see.

In theaters June 22, “Grahame-Smith’s revision of the secret life of our greatest president, and the untold history that shaped our nation. As a young boy, Abraham Lincoln witnesses the shocking death of his mother, leading him on a path to an ongoing war – and ultimately to the presidency – he chronicles in a hidden diary. The journal reveals the incredible story of a clandestine warrior who never stopped fighting for the country he led and the people he loved.

Anthony Mackie, Dominic Cooper, Rufus Sewell, Robin McLeavy, Robin McLeavy, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jimmi Simpson and Alan Tudyk also star. Head inside to check it out!
