Detroit rapper Eminem confirmed in an interview with Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg that he is beginning to work on a new solo album, the follow-up to 2010’s Recovery. Although he hasn’t said that recording has officially begun, he has stated that, “”I’m kinda getting into my next record a little bit.” You can watch video of the interview below.
Eminem also confirmed that the hip-hop supergroup Slaughterhouse, which is comprised of Royce Da 5’9″, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, and Crooked I, will be performing at the Hot 97 Summer Jam on June 3rd at the Metlife Stadium. You can still snag tickets here. Slaughterhouse’s Shady Records debut album Welcome To: Our House will be released June 12th.
