Over the years, a majority of Valve’s fans have honed an almost monk-like patience when it comes to their expectations of the developer. The long awaited Cold Stream update took a while to get here, more than a year longer than expected, but as of right now PC gamers have access to the major (and free) update. Unfortunately, not all gamers are treated equal, so Xbox 360 owners will need to wait a little longer to get the expansion, and, unsurprisingly, you’ll have to pay for it. For the low price of 560 MSP you can get the brand new Cold Stream campaign, as well as modified versions of Left 4 Dead’s campaigns–Death Toll, Dead Air, Blood Harvest, and Crash Course–that will be fully playable with Left 4 Dead 2’s characters and weapons. According to the game’s official Twitter page, Valve is currently “working with MS on a release schedule,” and they hope to have it out soon. So, who here is planning on getting the update, and for which platform?
