TV: [Next On] “True Blood” Episode #57, “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”
Tonight, HBO aired a preview from the upcoming 57th episode of “True Blood”, “Everybody Wants To Rule The World.” Like I said last week, I made it about 4 episodes in before I had to pull the plug on the season. You know what I want to see? A spinoff about Jessica. It’s not like I’ve watched every episode of the show (not claiming to be an expert) – but she seems like the most fleshed out character to me. If they could create a show that focussed on her instead of Sookie and Bill, and turned down the camp a little bit, that might be more fun.
In episode #57, “As the Authority proceeds with Lilith’s plan, Eric plots his escape. Gran directs Sookie to a clue to her parents’ murderer. Andy and Jason search for leads to the identities of the people behind the shifter killings. Alcide recalls his pack induction; Arlene gets caught in Terry and Patrick’s crossfire; Steve gets a new pet.”

While I wouldn’t mind a Jess spin off I hardly think she’s the most fleshed out character. She’s a secondary character. But you yourself Admitted you were talking out of your ass so it’s all good.

I just feel that the more they concentrate on Sookie, the more she contradicts herself. With a secondary character like Jess – she hasn’t been utterly destroyed by bad writing yet.
I def hold Jess in high regard. Also I think lesbians and hetero guys really dig her.

Jessica fucking owns!! she’s my favorite character on the show (along with Pam and Godrick back when he was on the show). i DO like Anna Paquin but her Sookie i’m not at all interested/invested in (although i DO love her and Jason’s awesome sibling relationship). i’m loving Pam and Tara’s budding friendship this season (it’s nice to see Pam’s “kinder” side). but yeah, Jessica/Deborah Anne Woll is the best (Deborah Ann was also excellent in Bousman’s MOTHER’S DAY remake). this season of TB i have to say is near perfect IMO.
LOL she’s in MOTHER’S DAY? I literally don’t remember her! Was she Demornay’s daughter?
