Surprise Cameos in ‘Mother’s Day’ Remake

Now filming in Winnipeg, Canada is Darren Lynn Bousman’s Mother’s Day, his remake of the classic Troma film penned by Scott Milam. Yesterday, Bousman posted an update on his Twitter account displaying the below image that teases cameos by Troma’s own Charles and Lloyd Kaufman! Charles directed the orignal 1980 film that was produced by Lloyd. In the remake three brothers on the run from the law head for home, only to discover that their mother lost the house in a foreclosure. Mother ingeniously orchestrates her sons’ escape, teaching the house’s new owners and their guests a few lessons along the way.
