The joy of streaming service Shudder is that, all year long, it feels like you’re being treated to a horror movie festival. While fellow streamers like Netflix, Hulu, or Peacock might make it a big deal when they unleash new horror titles for October, their genre offerings the rest of the year aren’t always satisfying. Additionally, these platforms often go for quantity over quality, or try to cash in on recognizable titles, while Shudder is curated by real-live people who aim to offer only the best in genre programming.
Despite impressing horror fans all year long, the service still takes things up a notch when October rolls around. With the countdown to Halloween kicking into full gear next week, the service has released their slate of new additions for the coming month, which you can read below.
