Fresh Synopsis for ‘The Knights of Badassdom’
While we had the plot synopsis posted a few months back for Joe Lynch’s The Knights of Badassdom, we were nicely asked to pull it down. Well, the latest synopsis is making its rounds online and we’ve got it for you inside. Shooting is expected to begin soon on the dark metal horror pic starring Ryan Kwanten, Steve Zahn, Peter Dinklage, Danny Pudi, and Summer Glau. Penned by Kevin Dreyfuss and Matt Wall, it follows a group of costumed LARPers (Live Action Role Players) who accidentally release a real-life Heavy Metal demon. The demons are going to be created by Spectral Motion, previously responsible for various Hellboy hellions and several Last Stand X-Men. “After being dumped by his sexy girlfriend Beth, Joe (Kwanten) reluctantly decides to join Eric (Zahn) and his LARPing (Live Action Role Players) friends in the woods rather than stay behind and feel sorry for his newly single status. There he meets hot, ass-kicking, intimidating LARPer Gwen (Glau), and finds himself plunged into a surreal adventure wilder than he ever imagined when a make-believe wizard casts an all-too-real spell from an ancient book. That spell releases an actual demon with a taste for human blood — and souls — that starts systematically decimating the players in this suddenly deadly “game.” Will our guys become the heroes they have been pretending to be before time runs out?”

A yoga influencer discovers just how flexible fear can be in Mind Body Spirit, a new found footage horror movie that Welcome Villain Films is bringing to the table in a couple weeks.
Mind Body Spirit will release on Digital outlets May 7.

As Anya becomes obsessed with the mysterious power of the practice, she unwittingly unleashes an otherworldly entity that begins to take control of her life – and her videos. Now Anya must race to unlock the truth, before her descent into madness threatens to consume her mind, body and spirit. By the time she reveals the true nature of the ritual, will it be too late?”
Mind Body Spirit was written and directed by Alex Henes & Matthew Merenda.
The upcoming horror film stars Sarah J. Bartholomew, Madi Bready, KJ Flahive, Anna Knigge, and Kristi Noory, and was produced by Dan Asma and Jesse McClung.
